1. Head of Supply Chain Wanted
A diligent & Confident Head of Supply Chain for an upcoming 250 bed Hospital at 23 Green Road, Dhaka who will be responsible for total control of materials including its storage, usage and accounting. He/she shall coordinate materials purchase activity and effect purchases as decided by the Materials Purchase Committee. He/she shall ensure adequate and timely availability of all materials – both medical and non-medical observing ethical and economic inventory control practices
Job Responsibilities
- Have absolute control on entire materials in all locations in terms of pilferage, misuse, wastage, damage and expiry
- Recommend space, medical technology, equipment, staffing and other resources needed by the department or service and ensure to have a process in place to respond to shortages.
- Plan and develop policies related to purchase, inventory, stores, vendor development, materials planning, materials coding etc. that guide the delivery of quality services.
- Ensure implementation of policies in consultation with Reporting Authority.
- Develop systems and procedures relating to functions of the department and ensure that procedures are implemented appropriately.
- Recommend criteria for selecting the department's professional staff and choose or recommend individuals who meet those criteria.
- Identify, in writing, the services to be provided by the department, and integrate those services with the services of other departments.
- Actively participate in the Purchase Committee decision making process and advise the Management on the feasibility of proceeding with the purchase request
- Advise the Management on the specification and quality of the materials being proposed to purchase.e
- Regularly select adequate quality improvement measures for the department based on the need for improvement in line with the policies and strategies of the organization.
- Implement the quality measures to reduce variation and improve processes within the department or service, which are useful in the evaluation of department performance, individual staff performance and contribute to the evaluation of the organization performance.
- Promote effective communication intra department and inter departments.
- Identify potential suppliers for various materials and consumables and forward the same to Purchase Committee for further discussion and finalizing.
- Ensure that approval of a supplier will be done only after adequate assessment on the quality of services by that supplier.
- Visit the premises of vendors, (if necessary), to evaluate their manufacturing and quality assurance capabilities and recommend vendors eligible for supply of materials.
- Ensure that purchase orders are placed on time and followed up for timely supply of materials and consumables.
- Evaluate quotations received from suppliers and ensure orders are placed providing quality materials and consumables on time and at optimal cost.
- Prepare annual / monthly material requirement plans and there-by purchase plans based on operational plans.
- Maintain inventory at optimum level to ensure continued hospital operation.
- Initiate claim procedure for material damage / loss and follow up the same periodically with supplier or insurance company.
- Ensure up to date preparation of documents and maintenance of all relevant records.
- Prepare MIS reports required by top management and submitting the same.
- Coordinate receipt of materials and approving rejection of materials.
- Ensure periodic scrap disposal and maintain records for the same.
- Maintain records pertaining to medical stores.
- Check and receive supplies of medicines and consumables in the medical store.
- Ensure proper storage of drugs under proper sanitation, temperature, light, moisture, ventilation, segregation and security.
- Authorize issue of medicine, & consumables to various pharmacy outlets like In-Patient pharmacy, Out-Patient pharmacy, OT pharmacy and various departments like dialysis, endoscopy, X-ray etc.
- Facilitate periodic audit in the general and medical stores for the implementation of the policies and protocol within the department.
- Facilitate periodic stock verification as per the hospital policies.
- Management of expired drugs as per the Hospital policy.
- Provide for the ethical practice of the profession.
Experience required:
- 15 years in which at least 5 years in a Senior Managerial role in a reputed Hospital.
Education Desired:
- Bachelor Degree/PG in Pharmacy
- Bachelor Degree/PG in Management
- Bachelor Degree/PG in Logistics

2. F&B Operations Manager Wanted
A diligent & Confident F&B Operations Manager for an upcoming 250 bed Hospital at 23 Green Road, Dhaka who will be responsible for overall operation for the restaurant like selecting staff, purchase food and stock, ensure staff are trained on proper food preparation etc. Ensure all safety measures are taken care in the restaurant, kitchen and service areas with health standards adhered.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning, designing and implementing effectively the Dept. policies and strategies.
- Actively participate in the process of selecting and hiring manpower for the department.
- Arrange work schedule of F & B staff.
- Effectively manage the logistics of F & B Department.
- Provide training for staff and ensure staff knowledge on work related matters and the hospital policy is up to the expected standard.
- Regularly monitor and ensure staff adherence to hospital policies.
- Ensure that all staff follow the Health Code and sanitation practices as per the Hospital policies.
- Check food and beverage orders to verify they are prepared and served within Hospital standards.
- Regularly interact with customers and ensure an enjoyable experience.
- Attend customer complaints effectively and rectify them in coordination with Head of the Dept.
- Develop innovative ideas for improving the quality of services by F & B Department.
Experience required:
- 5 years any reputed Hospital.
